Tales of the Lords of Scum

Abfall formed in 2007 by Daniele "Bobo" Veratti (Guitars) and Damiano "Lo zio" Bertuzzo (Drums) in Varese, North Italy. Matteo "Magnetika" Gattinoni (Guitars, Vocals) and David "Blatter" del Vito (Bass) joined few later. After a long period of rehearsals and acting as a heavy metal cover band, the band started to develop its own material. Early thrash/death metal acts influenced the sound of the band. The band continuend activity in many underground clubs and festivals in North Italy.

In the years that follows, the band suffered many line-up changes. However, the sound of the Lords of Scum was still evolving to a new stage. Marcello "Moragon" Belloni joined the band in 2014, while "Magnetika" and "Blatter" left the band. Finally Emiliano "Kiske" Bertossi joined as the new band's drummer and "Lo zio" switched to bass guitar. With this line-up in 2018, the first self-produced full lenght called "Load of Scum" has been recorded. Several gigs supporting the album followed. In 2020, "Moragorn" left the band, briefly replaced by Christian "Scum" Bernardoni. The band is currently recording new material.
